Nurture

It starts from the seasonal ingredients of the farmers market and organic produce from the super markets. Every week new vegetables, fruits and dairy is bought as our inventory goes quick with so much great food being cooked! Everything is vegetarian based with the use of good oils like olive, coconut, and grapeseed. There are some staples that the kiddos learn to love which is our Brazilian rice and beans – “papa”. This is our lunch base which is also served with seasoned steam vegetables – carrots, green beans, corn, broccoli, asparagus, zucchini etc.

We want our kiddos to have the widest experience of fruits and vegetables so they can start naturally start healthy eating habits. Food along with hydration, aka water, is very important and the little ones quickly pick up the term “agua”. When the time comes, we help families transition their babies into solid foods to get the nutrition they need to fuel their development!

As we transition our babies into papa, we have Suelo’s homemade vegetable baby stew. There are several ingredients that go into this marvelous soft stew like kabocha squash, sweet potatoes, spinach, zucchini, beans, and much more! We put a lot of love into our food and the results show when the kiddos keep coming back for more.

Lunch is our biggest focus when warm food is served but we also start and end the day with fruit and dairy. Our breakfast is bread, cheese, and fruits like avocados, blue berries, black berries, and bananas. These food staples alongside with Greek yogurt are a great source of vitamins, probiotics, protein and potassium. The balanced meals help with any indigestion babies have as their stomachs are still developing and can use the extra help.
